Åstorp is a beautifully located town, surrounded by nature and close to both Söderåsen, the coast, and city life. Good bus and train connections make commuting easy, and many of our employees commute from Helsingborg and Ängelholm. At the health center in Åstorp, we have 40 employees who together serve 10,300 registered patients. A wide range of care is offered here, including specialists, specialist clinics, dietitians, and social workers.

The Health Center Söderåsen Bjuv will soon become a branch of the Health Center Åstorp, where BVC Söderåsen will also become a branch of BVC Åstorp. Together we become stronger!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is a permanent employment with work at both BVC Åstorp and BVC Söderåsen. The Health Center Söderåsen is part of a Family Center, and here we work with Safe Growth and Child Safety, which will also be implemented at BVC Åstorp in 2026. We are looking for someone who is engaged and driven, and wants to join our team consisting of three BVC colleagues.

As a pediatric nurse or district nurse, you will work preventively with children and families according to the basic program of child health care. You will provide support in the parental role, assess children's development, and make home visits to newborns. You will also participate in parent groups, vaccinations, and doctor appointments.

We value our excellent cooperation that creates a good working environment and patient-safe care. Our BVC nurses have many years of experience, which provides a safe and stable operation. With us, you will have a significant role in driving the child health center forward with the best interests of the residents in focus.

You will have a great influence on shaping our new working methods between BVC Åstorp and BVC Söderåsen.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position, you must be a licensed pediatric nurse or district nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Previous experience in child health care is considered an advantage, as well as experience in PMO. Language proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale is a requirement.
